Easy Banana Bread

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup of flour of your choice

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 cup chopped dates

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Mash the bananas and combine them with the wet ingredients (bananas, eggs, and olive oil). A hand-held mixer can be useful here.

  3. Add in the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt) and combine with a wooden spoon.

  4. Stir in the chopped dates and walnuts, and pour the batter into the lined baking tray.

  5. Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until firm and golden.

  6. Allow the bread to cool, then serve with butter.
